Every year in Progresso they have Winter Texan Appreciation Day. They block off the main street for about 6 or 8 blocks and bring their wares , food , music and margaritas to the middle of the street. This is the first sign you see when you came into Mexico.

Harold and I at the sign.

These are our friends Al and Alice Rohr. We started riding Motorcycles with them back in 1985.

This is one of the stages they had set up under a tent. The back of my head is always a good picture.

Some of the young senoritas are very pretty as Al and Harold are checking out.

Some of the crowd!!

This young lady spent a lot of time getting into costume for the day.

More attractive young ladies.

This is a hotel on main street. You could even get a 15 % discount.

This was the Progesso Plaza bar. They had just opened a casino today. They were all slot machines with video blackjack. The most you could bet was 50 cents. They brought out a group of dancers all dressed in native garb.
